Environmental compliance audits by Clean Earth Solutions provide a wealth of information to the customer, be it a single station owner, a large retail fueling company, or a lending institution.
These audits can be customized to individual needs, and assure that all facets of environmental regulations are identified, met, and properly reported in various formats.
Clean Earth Solutions maintains certifications and licenses for Tank Testing, Line Testing, and Leak Detector Testing equipment, with Local, State and Federal agencies in numerous states, as well as the Department of Agriculture, and N.A.C.E.
Basic items that are conducted in most audits include;
- All underground storage tank information
- All submersible pump, piping, and dispenser information
- Current leak detection inspection / verification
- Spill and overfill equipment inspection / verification
- Other electronic system inspection / verification

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced tailored incentives to encourage owners of newly acquired facilities to discover, selfdisclose, correct and prevent recurrence of environmental violations. The “Interim Approach to Applying the Audit Policy to New Owners” was released by EPA on August 1, 2008. It is an expansion of the EPA Audit Policy issued in 2000. The EPA believes new owners have a unique opportunity to make a “clean start” at their facilities by addressing environmental issues, and that the Interim Approach will result in high quality environmental improvements more quickly and effectively than might otherwise occur. Only “appropriate” new owners can take advantage of the incentives; an eligible new owner must certify that prior to the transaction, it did not have responsibility for environmental compliance at the acquired facility, did not cause the subject violations, and was not substantially related, from an ownership or corporate standpoint, to the seller of the facility.
